After pulling the seams apart, working resin into the faying surfaces, then fastening it all back together again, I re-align the fender and after the resin sets up, remove the screws. Once I finish shaping the foam I'll grind away the top part of the damaged seam and lay in fiberglass to form a repair joint. After the upper joint is finished, I'll grind away the damaged seam inside the fender well and apply layers of repair fiberglass - completing the structural repair. Once the fiberglass is structurally repaired and sound, I'll fill and fair, prime and paint.
