Snow-Trac Project – Getting Frankie home

Drove to a small mountain cabin on the Old Bluett Pass Highway north of Cle Elum, WA to pick up Frankie and drive him home to Bonney Lake for restoration. Only 6′ tall and 12 feet long, fits easily in the garage.

Initial assessment reveals the need for a complete disassembly and cleaning, stripping, repainting and engine overhaul. Also new track belts and a few other things, but nothing terribly major. Frame is cracked where the left bogie truck support attaches, so I’ll be removing and welding in a new bogie truck support.
